The Story
Leisurely cafe by day and upscale restaurant by night, Bastia draws inspiration from the sun-drenched shores of Corsica and Sardinia. We are located in Fishtown’s Hotel Anna & Bel, a beautifully reimagined property that lends its deep sense of time and place to create Bastia’s home. At once rustic and elegant, it’s a spot to meet friends, make memories, and explore bright new flavors from ancient places.
The Menu
Chef-Partner Tyler Akin and team have created seasonally driven menus that balance a Corsican and Sardinian point of view with a local lens, celebrating the abundance of the Mid-Atlantic region. Akin’s commitment to exploration shines in every dish, shaped by his meaningful connections with local operators and purveyors abroad. Complemented by a drinks menu brimming with breezy and playful riffs on classic aperitivos and cocktails, Bastia brings a sustainably focused bar program to the neighborhood.
